Co-Founder & Partner
Chris is Co-Founder and Partner at Purus Capital, a role he has held since February 2017. He brings strong commercial acumen with exceptional business presentation and negotiation skills, combined with proven leadership in managing teams to deliver complex projects aligned to specific strategies.
Throughout his career in the financial sector, Chris has worked across many business sectors and cultivated long-term engagements across all levels of influencers. He possesses in-depth experience in the distribution of numerous investments including equities, renewable energy projects, private placements and debt financing.
Prior to founding Purus Capital, Chris served as Director at Mariner Care Group from May 2013 to March 2021, where he led the development and delivery of specialist care facilities. He also held positions as CEO of Mariner Care and Co-Founder/Investment Director at Salus Healthcare Fund, where he helped launch a healthcare investment portfolio focused on the UK Care Home Sector.
Chris is known for his drive and determination for continuous improvement through innovation and value-addition, and thrives in challenging and target-driven fast-paced environments.

Jonathan is Co-Founder and Partner at Purus Capital since February 2017, and currently serves as Investment Manager at InfraHub Compute. He brings over 20 years of experience managing client relationships and delivering successful deals in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure.
Jonathan commenced his financial career in the late 1980s in the City of London working in Commodities and Futures. In 1988, he relocated to New York where he joined Allied Capital to obtain his Series 7 securities license. His extensive experience spans multiple continents and market cycles.
In 2007, Jonathan was appointed Director of European operations at Progressive Capital, a private equity company partnered with Arjent London. During this time he successfully oversaw the procurement and Debt/Equity arrangements on numerous renewable infrastructure projects, working with major institutions including International Power UK, ABN Amro and Deutsche Bank.
At Purus Capital, Jonathan acts as intermediary introducer for renewable energy and sustainable companies seeking institutional-style funding. He maintains a network of proven and reliable potential funding sources, including wealth managers, corporate finance advisory boutiques, renewable energy funds and family offices globally.
In addition to his finance career, Jonathan founded the popular KohThai Marbella restaurant in 2017, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for excellence beyond the investment world.
